The driving directions given below are not necessarily the shortest or quickest, but the easiest to find if you have not visited us before
DIRECTIONS FROM SAINT MALO
If you are arriving by boat, come out of the harbour terminal and follow the signs for TOUTES DIRECTIONS (All Directions)
Take the main road to RENNES / DINAN (N137) from St Malo.
Just after the turning for Chateauneuf, take the right turning off this road on to the DINAN road N176
Stay on the N176 and cross the viaduct over the Rance estuary. About 2km after the viaduct, take the turn for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.
Go round the roundabout and take the last exit for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.
Continue on this road with Brico Depot on your left. After 200 metres, go straight over the roundabout, still following signs for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.
Stay on this road for about 4km, passing the edge of PLOUER until you arrive at a junction with traffic lights and a railway crossing. This is LA HISSE.
Continue straight on at the traffic lights with Auberge du Val de Rance on your right. After 200 metres you will pass La Ribeiro restaurant on your left. VUE DE LA RANCE is 300 metres further on your left. Look for the VUE de la RANCE sign in the front Garden. If you arrive at the CAMPSITE BEAUSEJOUR, you have gone too far.
DIRECTIONS FROM CAEN
From Caen, pick up the A84 towards Avranches. Stay on the A84 until shortly after Avranches and then pick up the N176 to Dinan (it is signed to Dinan and St Brieuc).
Continue on the N176. You will cross a large viaduct over the Rance estuary which takes you into the Cotes d'Armor region.
Stay on the N176 and cross the viaduct over the Rance estuary. About 2km after the viaduct, take the turn for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.
Go round the roundabout and take the last exit for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.
Continue on this road with Brico Depot on your left. After 200 metres, go straight over the roundabout, still following signs for PLOUER-SUR-RANCE.

Continue straight on at the traffic lights with Auberge du Val de Rance on your right. After 200 metres you will pass La Ribeiro restaurant on your left. VUE DE LA RANCE is 300 metres further on your left. Look for the VUE de la RANCE sign in the front Garden. If you arrive at the CAMPSITE BEAUSEJOUR, you have gone too far.
DIRECTIONS FROM RENNES
The easiest way for you to find us coming up from Rennes is to take the N137 towards St Malo.
Take the exit marked for Dinan. Follow the signs for Dinan (you will go through Lanvallay) and head for Dinan Port. Once in the port, head along the road with the river on your right hand side (you need to be travelling away from Dinan on the opposite side of the river to the Best Western hotel). At the end of the port, the road splits into three. Take the middle road up the hill.
After a minute or two, you will pass Le Hallerais campsite on your right and then you will arrive at a small roundabout at the village of Taden. Go straight across the roundabout following the signs for La Hisse 3km.
When you arrive at La Hisse carry straight on passing the campsite Beausejour.
We are a little further on the right hand side. There are white gates, with numbers 5 and 7 on the pillars. Look for the Vue de la Rance signs in the front garden. If you get to La Ribeiro pub/restaurant or Val de Rance Creperie, you have gone too far, we are about 200 metres before this.
DIRECTIONS FROM ST BRIEUC
From St Brieuc, take the N12 towards LAMBALLE.
After LAMBALLE (about 5 miles) take the N176 turn-off to DINAN.
Follow the N176, but do not come off at Dinan Centre. Continue on the N176 until you see the exit for ST SAMSON sur RANCE. Come off here. At the bottom of the slip road, TURN LEFT towards ST SAMSON sur RANCE. You will arrive at a roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout under the BRIDGE (sign says St Samson sur Rance and Pleudihen sur Rance).
Follow this road until you get to the SECOND set of TRAFFIC LIGHTS (the first set is only a few 100 yards away from the bridge) do NOT turn into St Samson sur Rance. At the SECOND set of lights there is a HOTEL on the corner (Auberge du val de Rance) TURN RIGHT HERE.
Pass LE RIBEIRO pub and restaurant on your left and we are about 200 metres further up the road on your left. Look for the VUE de la RANCE SIGN in the front garden. If you arrive at the CAMPSITE BEAUSEJOUR, you have gone too far.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE CENTRE OF DINAN
From Place Duclos, go along Rue Thiers and join D166 signposted DINARD / ST BRIEUC. Pass under the railway bridge and cross several roundabouts. Towards the edge of Dinan, you will cross a roundabout with DECATHLON on your right and INTERMARCHE / BRICO MARCHE on your left. About 500 meters after this roundabout, turn right for TADEN. (If you pass under the bridge of the main St Breuic-Caen road, you have gone too far).
Continue on the road towards TADEN for about 2km, crossing the railway line, until you reach a roundabout at the entrance to Taden. Take the third exit to LA HISSE.
Continue about 2km along this road until you reach a roundabout with Beausejour camping site on your right. This is La Hisse.
Continue beyond the roundabout for a further 400 metres and we are on the right hand side. There are white gates, with numbers 5 and 7 on the pillars. Look for the Vue de la Rance signs in the front garden. If you get to La Ribeiro pub/restaurant, you have gone too far, we are about 200 metres before this.
DIRECTIONS FROM THE PORT OF DINAN
From the waterfront, drive out of the Port area with the river on your right. (you need to be on the opposite side of the river to the Best Western hotel). At the end of the port, the road splits into three. Take the middle road up the hill.
After a minute or two, you will pass Le Hallerais campsite on your right and then you will arrive at a small roundabout at the village of Taden. Go straight across the roundabout following the signs for La Hisse 3km.
When you arrive at La Hisse there is a roundabout by the campsite Beausejour. Go straight over this roundabout.
